Program

Centennial: The First 100 Years of Chemical Engineering

at the University of Washington

The Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Washington is celebrating its centennial year in 2004, and the entire campus is decorated with banners marking the event.  Its time to look back at the people, the places and some of the lore of this extraordinary enterprise in which so many of you played a part.  The talk traces the timeline of events from the very beginning to the present, and relates a few anecdotes along the way.
