ProgramEngineers Without Borders™
Speakers
Doug Stanley, PE: Doug started work in transportation engineering as a drafter in 1979. He has worked for both private consultants including HDR and Entranco, and city government. Currently he is working for the Seattle Department of Transportation supervising both Structural Design and Contract Specifications & Estimates. Outside of engineering, he has been active in several campaigns to raise money for medical and other material aid for communities in Central America and Southern Africa. Katrina Hecimovic: Katrina is currently a roadway and drainage design engineer at KPG, Inc., a multidisciplinary firm specializing in civil engineering, architecture, and landscape architecture. A recent graduate of Seattle University, she was part of a senior design team that worked with SPU researching the effects of compost amendment at local sites, such as Highpoint and SEA Streets, and has helped conduct research in the field of phytoremediation.
