As a part of the US and Coalition effort to
reconstruct the infrastructure in Iraq, Mr. Dalan
spent three months in the country participating in conceptual
design activities for water and sewer facilities at military bases
there. The presentation will have three components, a technical part
where some of the conclusions and unclassified information
will be discussed, a travelogue of the country, and
some impressions on the politics and military
activities that you may not get on CNN. |
About
Jon Dalan:
Mr.
Dalan worked for Stanley Consultants under contract with the ACOE for this
assignment. He is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from the University
of Washington, and has worked and published extensively in the area
of industrial and municipal water treatment.
