Program
Since the Olympic Pipeline tragedy, the state of Washington has passed the Washington State Pipeline Safety Act of 2000 and has designated the pipeline safety program management to the Washington State Office of Pipeline Safety. Program director, Douglas Kilpatrick, and Senior Pipeline Safety Engineer, Kim West will describe the current status of the program, give an update on recent federal and state regulations, give the status of the natural gas industry equivalent to the liquid pipeline Integrity Management Rule, and provide an overview of the State's rules for hazardous liquid pipeline safety.
